The Arena of Verona

How the Verona Card works

The Verona Card is an official tourist card of the city of Verona, available for 24 or 48 hours. It gives you free entry to the most important sights and free use of the city buses during the period of validity. The card is only activated the first time you use it, giving you the flexibility to use it when you want.

    Buy Verona Card

    You can buy the Verona Card online or directly on site in Verona. It is available locally at the tourist information office, museums, churches and participating hotels.

    Pick up your passport

    The Verona Card is currently only available in physical form. Vouchers purchased online must be exchanged for a card at the tourist office in Verona. A purely digital version does not currently exist.

    Book attractions

    For the Casa di Giulietta it is necessary to reserve a time slot free of charge. Reservations should be made well in advance, especially in the high season.

    Activate your card

    The card is activated the first time it is used (e.g. admission to a place of interest or travel on the city bus). From this moment on, the card is valid for 24 or 48 hours.

    Enjoy free admission

    The Verona Card gives you free access to more than 15 attractions, including the Arena di Verona (fast-track entry at Gate 5), the Castelvecchio Museum and the Basilica of San Zeno. Other attractions offer reduced admission prices. Each attraction can be visited once free of charge.

    Use public transportation

    During the period of validity, you can use the ATV-Verona city buses free of charge for an unlimited period. Simply hold the card up to the reader when boarding. The card is not valid for the Aerobus (airport shuttle) and not for intercity connections.
